Do You Remember ?

Gary Holt 1995-2001

Gary Holt joined Killie on a "free" from Stoke City.  A Killie fan himself he always played for jersey. If effort and determination are/were the measure of a player than Gary would have been "World Class".

Killie Debut.. Sept 11th 1995 @ Motherwell

Last Match.. Mar 18th 2001 Vs Celtic CIS Cup Final

Most Important Goal... May 10th 1997 Vs Aberdeen to keep Killie in the SPL.

Honours.... 97 Cup Winners Medal, 01 CIS Runners Up Medal, 2 Full Scottish Caps.

Fee... 100 Grand from Norwich City.

You get the impression that, one day, Holt might end up back at his beloved Rugby Park.

He said: ''It's a nice thought. You can never change the club you love and I'll always be a Killie man. I was up for a cup final reunion a while ago and it was great.

''My dad still has a season ticket and is on the phone whining to me about what they are doing wrong.

''I would like to go back sometime. As manager, I don't know because Jim Jefferies is doing a pretty good job.''
