Allen, Hugh -
Hugh took over from Walter McRae as first team
trainer in 1968, and kept the job all the way into the new
millennium. Represented Killie as the Scotland physio for FIVE
different World Cups. A great servant to the club, and has since been
awarded the MBE by her majesty the Queen. |

Armstrong, Kenny -
Kenny played over 100 games for Killie and was a
standout during 82-83 campaign, when Killie were relegated with only 3
wins in 36 outings. Southampton then bought him for a mere £40K.Kenny
then played 26 matches in their best ever season where they finished 2nd
to Liverpool. Retired
from the game at only 27 after a serious knee injury. |

Bagan, David - Bagan was a member
of our 1997 Scottish Cup Kilmarnock glory. Back in May 1997, the red
headed winger helped parade the trophy in an open-topped bus through

Whitfield Beattie is revered by supporters of KFC Frank was an
inspirational player who could turn a match through his own
endeavours. He was skilful, uncompromising in the tackle and strong

Black, Tom - Tom Black spent five years
at Rugby Park, helping the team gain promotion to the Premier
League. Many fans were annoyed with the way the club dismissed Tom
but from his comments below, he took it all in his stride.

Bourke, John - John Bourke is a man who
you would be hard pushed to hear anyone be negative about, he is
admired and respected by fans across the broad spectrum of Scottish

Kris was Transferred to:
Glasgow Rangers in Jan of 2006 for an estimated £400K. Kris left the
club as Killie's all time SPL goalscorer with 64 finishes. In

Last Game for Killie on Dec 17th 2005, at Falkirk he
scored the winning goal for Killie with the last kick of the ball. (&
his Killie career!)

Brown, Tom - Broono was signed by then
Killie manager Tommy Burns from the Junior ranks and did not look
out of place in the SPL. His no-nonsense approach and never say die
attitude made him a fans' favourite and of course he will always be

Burke, Alex - Alex Burke will be
remembered by Kilmarnock fans for adding left-wing swagger to the
team that lifted the Scottish Cup in 1997, and who subsequently

deserted the indigenous player... |

Jim - Nicknamed
"Coby", Jim helped
the club to gain
promotion to the old Premier Division, in season 1981-82, making 20
starts, and was used as a sub once also! His only Killie goal was
against Morton at Rugby Park Nov 16th 1985, which helped Killie win
3-0. Always gave 100%, and played much
taller than his 5'6" size! |

Cocard, Christophe - Christophe Cocard
was a 31 year old former French internationalist when he was signed
on a Bosman in Sept of 1999 from Lyon. He broke his nose in his
first training session and his debut was delayed 4 weeks! He was

Cook, Jim -
Part of the Willie Fernie promotion winning team in 73-74, that scored 96 league goals, that
Jim must have supplied 25 of the serves into the box that Killie's Fleming
or Morrison converted. From 68-71 played on the left wing opposite Tommy
McLean, giving Killie one of the most attractive attacking
formations in Scotland. |

-
Brought in by
Bobby
Williamson during the close season of 2000 but due to his age we had
to fork out a reputed £100,000 in compensation because he was under
23. His Killie career was been hampered by
injuries but he will always be remembered for his
Hampden wonder goal, in the 2000-01 CIS Semi Vs the Buddies. Craig
was freed in May of 2005. |

Dickson, Billy -
Billy took quite some time to break into the Killie side. Was the
best right back in Scotland from 1969-71. A member of the 64-65
league winning squad. Had an alarming loss of form during the 72-73
season, in which Killie were relegated and subsequently went
part-time. Lost his spot due to the emergence of Stuart McLean &
Alan Robertson both of whom went onto serve Killie for 10 + years |

Dindeleux, Freddie -
Freddie played over 200 games for Killie, and was
the longest playing Bosman transfer playing Scotland..."It
was a gamble for me coming here, especially with a wife and child, but it

went well. I was enjoying myself and the people at Kilmarnock

Ferguson, Bobby - Started his career with Kilmarnock before being signed by West Ham for
£65,000, then a record fee for a keeper in 1967.
He played 276 times for the Hammers, then joined Sheffield Wednesday
in 1974.

between 1965-66. Today lives in Australia. |

Signed in 1961 from St Mirren. Left in 1965 for Southampton Was the
first choice National keeper when Campbell headed off down south.
He won 4 Scottish caps making his debut in a memorable 1-0 win over
England on April 11th 1964, at Hampden. Was injured during the epic
64-65 title winning championship run-in with Hearts. His position

Fulton, Stevie - Stevie Fulton was signed
June of 2002, on a free transfer from Hearts by his former boss Jim
Jefferies. He was reported to have weight provisions written into

June 1931. He played for Wishaw High School and Lugar Boswell
Thistle before signing for Partick Thistle in May 1952. Seven years

for Killie in December 1959, for a club record... |

Steve - Steve played 2 full seasons

Mathie, Ross - Ross
made 80 appearances for Killie between 1969 & 1972, scoring 40 goals
along the way. He was sold to Dumbarton in 1972, and scored the

and schoolboy setup. |

Maxwell, George - George made over 350
appearances for Killie between1969 & 1981. Known also for rocket

McCluskey, George - 'Toby' as George was

St Mirren outfit. |

Ally Mitchell
arrived in 1991 from East Fife for the princely sum of £100,000
which, ten years and over 400 appearances later seems to be a bit of
a bargain! Always versatile, Ally played in nearly every position at
some stage in his Killie career. A genuine
Killie legend and the last of the 1997 Scottish Cup winners.

Montgomerie, Raymond -
Monty was part of the team who
found glory and brought Kilmarnock back into the top flight in the
early nineties. In the years that closely followed Monty played an
integral role in staving off several nervous relegation fights and
helped the club find consolidation as one of Scotland's leading
clubs. Captained Killie in 97 to a Scottish Cup
victory. |

Morrison, Eddie -
Signed from Port
Glasgow to Killie in Season '66-'67. Played
at Rugby Park for nine seasons until Manager Willie Fernie
released him. Left the club as modern day goal
scoring leader with 149 of them. Ian Fallis took his place.
Returned to Killie as manager in 1985. Largely ineffective as a
manager he was fired in 1989 . A
cult hero with the fans .."O Eddie Eddie"... will live on for ever!

Murray, Eric - Eric served Killie from
1961 to 1968, and played as a right half, having been converted by
Willie Waddell from a centre forward. Yet another master stroke en

Naismith, Steven -
Broke into Kilie's
starting XI, at the age of 17. A proven goal scorer, at every level,
picked up the nick-name of "Kid Goals". Hailing from Stewarton Naisy
was also a keen Glasgow Rangers fan, and when they came sniffing
for him during the summer of 2007, he was "off" for a cool
£2 Mill. Has the distinction of being Killie's
last full Scotland "cap". |

Hibs on Jan 30th 2008,
after rejecting the club's
best offer, having signed a pre-contract for
season 2008-09 with the capital club. The six foot +, lanky forward was
certainly not a fans fav initially, but won many of the fans over,

Provan, Davie -
In season 1977-78
As a first division Killie claimed
the premier league scalp
of holders Celtic, in the Scottish Cup.
It was Killie's wee winger Davie Provan
gave the Celtic backline a roasting, and it was no surprise that
Celtic bought Provan the following season, for a then record of
£120,000 pounds between Scottish clubs.This
is the first time a club from a lower division had knocked out the
cup holders !! |

Queen, Gerry - Killie bought Gerry in
1965 from St Mirren for
£4,000 plus Ronnie Hamilton. 124 outings and 41 goals later
Gerry departed Killie to head on down south to join Crystal Palace
for a fee of
£35,000, in June of 1969. Gerry did play (and scored Killie's
only goal) in the club's 1969 Centenary match Vs Eintracht. |

Jim Jefferies
once had him on his books while at Hearts, and with the new transfer
window system coming in during 2002-03 season , JJ offered him a six

Reilly, Mark - "Mavis" was another member
of our 1997 Scottish Cup Kilmarnock glory side. Joined from
Motherwell was the engine room for Tommy Burns promotion winning
side of 1992-93.Left the club to join Burns for a brief period in
1998 at Reading, but rejoined Killie within a year. Scored Killie's
first goal of the new millennium in Jan 2000 in a 1-1 home draw to
Celtic. |
