Boyd, Kris - Kris was Transferred to: Glasgow Rangers in Jan of 2006 for an estimated £400K. Kris left the club as Killie's all time SPL goalscorer with 64 finishes.   Canero, Peter - Pedro was only keen to move on with a transfer that would help Killie out (i.e. no pre-contract situations with other club's (Celtic was reported to be a non-starter) where Peter would leave Rugby Park for nothing!)  Peter has since been selected to the full Scotland side since his Jan 2004 move to  Leicester City...

Interviewed by Donny Muir for the KTS magazine...

Cockburn, Jim - Nicknamed "Coby", Jim helped the club to gain promotion to the old Premier Division, in season 1981-82, making 20 starts, and was used as a sub once also!   Dindeleux, Freddie - Freddie played over 200 games for Killie, and was the longest playing Bosman transfer playing Scotland..."It was a gamble for me coming here, especially with a wife and child, but it was a gamble for Kilmarnock to sign a French centre-half. Thankfully, it went well. I was enjoying myself and the people at Kilmarnock  It just became my life".

Durrant, Iain - To this day you will find many an argument over who Killie's "best player" was in the 90's! The majority of the fans are divided over Tommy Burns or Ian Durrant.   MacDonald, Malky - When Raymond Montgomerie hoisted the Scottish Cup aloft at a sun drenched, emotion soaked Ibrox on 24th May 1997, there was one man watching from the stands who perhaps felt that after 40 years justice had been done. Malcolm MacDonald...Interviewed by Donny Muir for the KTS magazine...

Mackinnon, David - Davie Mackinnon was one of these players you hated when he was on the opposing side, only because you wanted him playing for your team.   McCluskey, George - 'Toby' as George was nicknamed, was one of the most skilful players in Scotland over the last few decades.   McCulloch, Alan - Alan McCulloch made his debut for Killie against the mighty Brechin in December '63 and went on to play an amazing 489 times for the club. It has been argued that if he had played for a 'bigger' club then no doubt he would have added to his one under 21 cap... Interviewed by Donny Muir for the KTS magazine...

McCulloch, Iain - Iain was a never say die fan-fav, not un-like Gary Holt! Sold to Notts Co in Mar 1978 for £80,000. Played through 1986 before retiring through injury. Nicknamed "cowboy" for his reckless all out style of play.

McCutcheon, Gary - With a total of six starts and sixteen appearances as a substitute (scoring two goals in the process) since he signed in 1995. Gary never got a chance of a sustained run in the first team at Rugby Park. He's been off on loan on numerous occasions... Read his player profile...

McDicken, Derek - Affectionately known as "Big D" . In 1980 Killie turned down a bid of £250,00 from West Ham, as it was considered an undervalued bid!. Scored the only goal for 1st Div Killie in knocking out  holders Celtic in a 4th round Scottish Cup replay at Rugby Park  on Mar 6th 1978.   Merdy, Davide - Davide played less than one full game for Killie in the UEFA Cup at Glenavon in August of 2001.   Middlemas, James - Joined Killie at the ripe old age of 29, after appearing for Petershill Juniors in the 1949 junior cup final. Helped Killie reach the 1953 League Cup Final as a Division "B" team. Went on to captain Killie during their 1953-54 promotion winning season.

Millar, Blair - "The current set up is a far cry from the days when I was playing, it's simply amazing how the club has progressed in the last few years. Interviewed by Donny Muir for the KTS magazine...

Mitchell, Alistair - Ally Mitchell arrived in 1991 from East Fife for the princely sum of £100,000 which, ten years and over 400 appearances later seems to be a bit of a bargain! Always versatile, Ally played in nearly every position at some stage in his Killie career. A genuine Killie legend and the last of the 1997 Scottish Cup winners. "Bully" was released on Jan 17th 2003.

Montgomerie, Raymond - Monty was part of the team who found glory and brought Kilmarnock back into the top flight in the early nineties. A cult hero with the fans .."O Eddie Eddie"... will live on for ever! I

Murray, Eric - Eric served Killie from 1961 to 1968, and played as a right half, having been converted by Willie Waddell from a centre forward.   Naismith, Steven - Broke into Kilie's starting XI, at the age of 17. A proven goal scorer, at every level, picked up the nick-name of "Kid Goals". Hailing from Stewarton Naisy was also a keen Glasgow Rangers fan, and when they came sniffing for him during the summer of 2007, he was "off" for a cool £2 Mill. Has the distinction of being Killie's last full Scotland "cap".

Nish, Colin - Sold to Hibs on Jan 30th 2008, after rejecting the club's best offer, having signed a pre-contract for season 2008-09 with the capital club. The six foot +, lanky forward was certainly not a fans fav initially, but won many of the fans over, with his goals, and overall effort to the cause. Scored from the spot in his last match for Killie Vs Airdrie Utd, in the cup.

Provan, Davie - In season 1977-78 As a first division Killie claimed the premier league scalp of holders Celtic, in the Scottish Cup. It was Killie's wee winger Davie Provan gave the Celtic backline a roasting, and it was no surprise that Celtic bought Provan the following season, for a then record of £120,000 pounds between Scottish clubs. This is the first time a club from a lower division had knocked out the cup holders !!

Queen, Gerry - Killie bought Gerry in 1965 from St Mirren for £4,000 plus Ronnie Hamilton. 124 outings and 41 goals later Gerry departed Killie to head on down south to join Crystal Palace for a fee of £35,000, in June of 1969. Gerry did play (and scored Killie's only goal) in the club's 1969 Centenary match Vs Eintracht.

Quitongo, Jose - Jim Jefferies once had him on his books while at Hearts, and with the new transfer window system coming in during 2002-03 season , JJ offered him a six month contract as cover. Sadly Jose never really broke through, despite all his trickery & skill!

Reilly, Mark - "Mavis" was another member of our 1997 Scottish Cup Kilmarnock glory side.
