Position: Centre Half

Club Honours: 1964-65 Scottish League Division 1 winners medal, 62-62 League Cup runners up medal.

International Honours: 3 Full Scottish caps against Finland & Northern Ireland in 1965 and Portugal in 1966.

Other Career Highlights: Played in 20 European matches for Killie including the never to be forgotten Eintracht 5-1 match in 1964.

Jackie missed facing  Real Madrid in the European Cup in 65 due to a contract dispute with the club. Jackie was a very dependable centre back and went on to make over 450 1st team appearances for Killie.

Jackie was part of the club's centenary celebrations in 1969, and also was introduced to soviet leader Aleksei Kosygin in 1967 prior to match at Rugby Park.
