Ally Mauchlen 1978-82

Former Killie midfielder Ally Mauchlen has returned to Travel Factory Midland Alliance club Oadby Town as first-team coach.

Mauchlen guided the side into the Alliance after a successful spell as manager in the late 1990s.

The 44-year-old, who also played for Motherwell, Hearts and Leicester, spent four years at Rugby Park after joining the club in 1978.

Oadby Town manager Lee Adam was delighted to welcome former Killie player Ally Mauchlen back to the club.

"I'm absolutely delighted that Ally has joined us," he said. "He brings a wealth of experience at a high level and has got a huge amount of respect from everybody at the club.

"I feel that Ally can help to put a fresh impetus in on the coaching side at Oadby."
