Andy Smith was
signed on loan from Dunfermline in Dec 1999 and gets in only 2 games
during his 30 day trial, Williamson then stated he wanted Smith on a
permanent basis, after he scores a header (his only goal for the club)
at Hibernian.
Well a 100,00 grand later he was
ours. It was reported his Pars wages were honoured and he was making
more than injured Paul Wright. He is then "freed" within a year, and
signs-on with Raith, with Killie again reported "covering" a portion
of his wages !!
