Jerome Vareille
was the first of a quartet of French players - including Christophe
Cocard, Freddie Dindeleux and Mickael Pizzo - to come to Kilmarnock.

During his spell here made
75 starts and a further 38 appearances as substitute,
scoring 16 goals in the process.

The 27-year-old, who had
previously played with Metz and FC Mulhouse in his native country,
left Kilmarnock on amicable terms, and was snapped up by Airdrie in
Feb 2002.

Feb 2002 Bobby
Williamson.... "Jerome has
taken the opportunity to go and play football elsewhere and we wish
him well and thank him for his service to the club."
