"I've
looked at the squad and I've looked at the balance and shape of
it. Tim hasn't been getting enough first-team football and
he's a very good player. I want to help Tim and, in turn,
help ourselves. We are quite abundant in the full-back area and
it gives me an opportunity to bring in a natural centre-half. I
feel we have enough cover with the full-backs with Tim's
departure and it gives Tim an opportunity to get first-team

atmosphere in the dressing room. There's decent banter and the
new players are all settling in well. We don't have any bigtime
Charlies at the club and everyone makes you feel welcome. The
lads who have come in from different countries or cultures have
fitted in and they take part in the banter. We have players from
all over the world but football is all the same with guys
cracking jokes and everyone gets involved. We've lost a
lot of good players from last season but the lads the manager
has brought in have settled in and we're still getting used to
playing together."
