Glasgow Killie Supporter's Club News

15th July 2003... Dave Townsley has been in contact to inform us about a pre-season party taking place in The Pot Still on Saturday 2nd August, after the Sunderland game. Their will be all the usual raffle stuff and the singing kicks off at 7.30pm. Make it a date! 

24th April 2003... Their will be a Quiz night in the Pot Still, Hope Street (surely you know that by now!) on Wednesday 30th April 2003. The evening kicks off at 7.30pm so make sure that you are there on time to get your team registered. As usual there are great prizes for the winners and great prizes in the raffle. Having been along to most of them we can assure you that you are at least guaranteed a laugh.

16th April 2003... The inaugural Glasgow Killie Supporters Player of the Year Night Out will be on Saturday 10th May 2003, aptly after our visit to Govan. The 'do' will be in The Pot Still, Hope Street, Glasgow and will kick off at 7.30pm with the presentations taking place around 8.30 - 9pm. It will be pretty informal affair that is open to anyone. There will be music and karaoke with raffles and the like and also a finger buffet laid on for the hungry. Hope it's chocolate fingers!

28th March 2003... We have been informed by webmaster Chris Osborne (aka Killie Squirrel) that the new Glasgow Killie website is now up and running at www.glasgowkillie.com, please pay it a visit!

26th February 2003... The new chairman of the GKSC is David Townsley, the secretary is Margot McCrone, the  treasurer is Neil Grimmond, the bus convenor is Debbie Moffat and the bus steward is Caroline Smith. Also elected to the committee were Chris Osborne and John Wheeler and last but in no way least the social convenor, Vicky Black.

25th February 2003... The AGM will take place on Wednesday 26th February 2003 in the Pot Still pub, Hope Street at 6.30pm.

19th September 2002... The meeting went ahead in the pub last night as planned and Ian sent us the following points of note: "Please note that the Bus to Hibs will leave the Pot Still at 10.30am on Saturday, cost £5. We will also have a bus on Tuesday 24th September leaving The Pot Still at 6.30pm for the CIS Cup Game against Airdrie. Please encourage use of this bus, it will cost only £5 for adults and free for (accompanied) kids. Names to Dave Townsley on 07940 464722. Quiz Night - Tuesday 1st October, The Pot Still 7.30 pm. Great time promised, great prizes and for a great cause too. The more the merrier, prize donations required. There is an Xmas Party planned for Saturday 14th December and a Burns Supper in The Pot Still planned for Wednesday 22nd January 2003, further details on both to follow. More urgent is The Park Suite Experience, a fun thrilled day planned for Saturday 15th March that will only cost you £50. Please book as soon as possible as places are limited."

12th September 2002... The next open meeting will be held in the Pot Still, Hope Street, Glasgow on Wednesday 18th September 2002 at 7.30pm. Please make every effort to attend as there will be a number of important issues discussed including - Transport to Games, Social Events & The Park Suite Experience. There will be special guest speakers invited, a buffet laid on and the new Killie Hippo (Issue 17) will be on sale. Annual membership fees are now due which are five pounds and one pound and you can pay on the night...bring a friend along, the more the merrier.

The contact for the Glasgow Killie Supporter's Club is Caroline Smith. Debbie can also be contacted by telephone on 07956 202881. This club was formed during season 2001-2002 and currently share buses to away matches with the Letterbox KTID Supporter's Club.
