It's TEN again for FC Kilmarnock!
Shettleston Ladies 0 - 10 FC Kilmarnock On Sunday FC Kilmarnock traveled away from home for there 3rd league game of the season against Glasgow based Shettleston LFC. Despite some resolute defending in the first half the game was effectively over by half time with the Killie girls holding a 3-0 lead at the break.
(On Target - Donna Cheyne) The second half saw the visitors lift the pace of the game and the home side found it difficult to cope with the continuous waves of attack from the visiting team. The final score was an embarrassing 10-0. A major plus point from the game was the goal scoring exploits of 16 year old Sarah Hough who netted a superb Hat trick. With so many games proving easy for the champions it is causing some concern regarding there preparation for the European Championships in less than 3 weeks time where they will definitely come up against some fierce opposition from the Russian, Austrian and Portuguese champions.
Next week will see no league fixture as the National squad travel to the States to play against the world champions in an invitational friendly on Sunday 8th
September in Ohio. Six of the Kilmarnock Squad will travel.
