Kilmarnock ended their three-game Irish break in style with a 2-1
victory away to Irish League side St Patrick's FC in Dublin on Sunday
afternoon.
Midfielder Gary McDonald, 20, and veteran forward Gary McSwegan (below)
were again on target as Jim Jefferies' men ended with a win.
The 2-1 victory saw Killie finish their tour of Ireland unbeaten.
The 2 Gary's .....McDonald and McSwegan had also netted 24 hours
previous against Drogheda — (Therefore finishing the tour with two goals
each.)
Paul di Giacomo, McDonald and McSwegan scored the goals on Saturday as
Drogheda were beaten 3-1.
The first game of the break ended in a 1-1 draw against Longford Town.
on Friday with a Floodlight failure halting the game in the first
half with the Irishmen ahead, but Kris Boyd levelled in 75 minutes.
Killie resume SPL action next Sat when former manager Bobby Williamson
brings his Hibernian side to Rugby Park.
