Gordon Marshall is a whole lot better than Seaman - by a mile.

Big Marsh is, without a doubt, one of the steadiest and most reliable goalkeepers in Scotland. Was signed for Killie after Dragoje Lekovic's rather acrimonious departure from Rugby Park and immediately made the number 1 jersey his own. One of the more consistent performers in the team.

Why can't everything blue be Killie ?

Able to command the box and organise the defence has the confidence to come out for balls can have a tendency to do rash things but he is vastly experienced and most fans would agree that they feel confident with him between the sticks

Overall performances in pre-season very good. Had no chance wit the Q.O.S. goal and initially saved well for the Glentoran goal. Had some good man to man stops.
Getting on a bit now, but still Killie no1.

He commands the back four and is great in one-on-one situations. He's getting on a bit though and not as maneuverable as he once was.

Will be No1 for a few years yet. Our most consistent performer by far. Unfair criticism when he makes the odd blunder as he's saved us many more points than he's lost.

Very reliable and consistent goalie for Killie even as he's getting on a bit. I thought he may struggle with injury last season but he was as solid as ever. may be prone to the odd faux pas but tell me a goalie that isn't - does our new manger see him as our no.1 for the season I wonder.

While Marsh may not have the agility or reflexes he had in his greater days, he is still a solid keeper who has managed to keep the number 1 shirt from Meldrum simply due to his ability to command the box and make defenders work for him.

Communication with the defence is first class (probably where Melly is lacking) Chases the defence out so they're not on top of him. Turns defence into attack with some superb distribution. Sometimes flaps a bit when under P from pass backs. Will take someone very good to see him of in the next 2 seasons.

The Marsh is one of the best keepers in Scotland and one of the most consistent performers in Britain.

When Dragoje left, I was worried because Dragoje was a legend but The Marsh has surpassed him.

Long live the Marsh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
