Kris Boyd
has netted three times in the dying seconds of games this season,
the best coming at Fir Park when his spectacular free-kick in
injury-time won all three points for Kilmarnock.....Kris talks about
scoring these late goals.....
"I seem to have made a
habit of getting late goals, although maybe that's because I've only
been put on in the last 10 minutes in some games.
"I'm happy to get my
name on the scoresheet at any time but there is always something great
about scoring in the last minute.
"The fans love that,
as do the players, and the dressing room is a great place to be when
you've won a game or rescued a point when it seemed it wasn't going to
be your day.

"My goal against
Motherwell is one which will stick in my mind.
"I had been put on as
a sub and had missed a few decent chances and would have been in for a
rollicking off the manager at the end.
"But with virtually
the last kick of the game we got a free-kick and I got it over the wall
and into the net. You could say we were pleased.
"I'm not surprised so
many late goals have been scored this season. There are good teams in
this league with strikers who are likely to take any chance when it
comes to them.
"It is something that
everyone wants to see. Just look at the Edinburgh derby - that was an
incredible finish.
"It shows if you stay
switched on for 90 minutes then there is always a chance."
"If you think scoring
a late goal is great then losing one is just about the worst feeling you
can experience.
"Look at us up at
Tannadice this week. We thought we'd got a great away win and then
they sneak one right at the end. It felt like a defeat.
"It wasn't the first
time it had happened and it really hurt."
