Andy Sets His Sights
Andy McLaren,
who is out of contract at the end of the season, is hoping similar
displays to Saturday in the remaining six games
can clinch a European spot for the team and a new contract for himself.

"I thought we were outstanding,
We scored six and probably could have had a couple more but
that's being greedy. We
have probably played as well as that without getting the goals, but
everything seemed to go right
against Hibs.
I want to stay at Kilmarnock and, hopefully, if we get
into Europe it will mean a couple of more quid for me,"
"I have six more games to concentrate
on and I'm sure the manager will have a word with me in the next couple
of weeks,"
"We had a lot of young boys in the team
against Hibs and that augurs well for the rest of this season and next
season as well.
"We still feel third place in the SPL
is achievable. We don't fear anyone outwith the top two and we feel we
can match anyone at Rugby Park."

Saturday's four goal Killie
hero Gary McSwegan
is also out of contract at the end of the season, but with 10 goals in the
current campaign he too can be reasonably confident of securing a new
deal....(one would think!).
