Jim Jefferies..."Yes,
we would have given Kris stick because we thought he should have scored
with the header and also with a shot.
"But we can forgive him for that now.

"Last week he was unlucky with a free-kick which
hit the post but he came up trumps for us today with a great goal".
"Anyone who was at the game last week saw that we
played well and didn't deserve to lose.
"The players had a sense of injustice all week,
worked hard in training and came here looking to put it right.
"Motherwell had good spells and then we had the
best of the match at times but I feel the best chances of the game fell to
us and their keeper had a good save from Kris Boyd.
"Overall I was pleased by the way the players
worked today and we got our reward.
"We have had our injury problems this season and
we still have experienced players to come back but today the young boys
earned another shot and it was nearly the same team we had out from last
week.
"But once the experienced players come back to
full fitness then we will have good competition for places".
Terry Butcher ..."I
was gutted when we lost the goal in the last few seconds. There was no way
back for us then.
"But we have to believe we can turn this around
because if we stop believing then we are finished.
"We will play worse and win matches. And if
football has any logic then next week we'll get a last minute winner
against Dundee United.
"But football has no logic sometimes and we just
have to keep on going".
"I felt we needed a change to freshen things up.
"Wood's attitude was first-class before the game
and he was very supportive of Francois. He understands my reasons and he
will press hard to get back into the team".
