Colin Meldrum
made his 5th start of the season at Dundee, on Sat, and his 3
second-half saves, helped keep Killie in a game they would go on to take
a point from, ......
"Even when we were 2-0
down at half-time I didn't think it was dead for us.
"All we needed to do
was get an early goal in the second half, which we did.
"We did well after the
break and finished strongly against a really good team.
"I was pleased with my
performance in the second half and feel I helped out the lads with a
couple of saves.
"They came at 2-1 when
Dundee were pushing for a third goal so I was pleased to make saves at
that time.
"The manager has told
me that the position will be mine if I go out and perform well. I'm
happy with the way I'm doing but it's not just about me. It is a team
thing and it is about the rest of the guys playing well in front of me."
"First of all we want
to secure the top-six place and it feels as though we are just about
there.
"The next thing for us
is a European spot and we'll be looking to challenge Hearts.
"It would be great to
play in Europe and it would also bring in more revenue for the club."
