Peter
Canero talks about his goal last night Vs Thistle, his fitness and a
possible Scotland call-up...
On
his goal Vs Thistle..."Barry
McLaughlin hit a long ball trying to find Kris Boyd. I told Kris to
leave it, but the truth is I think he missed it.
It's great to score, but we have to learn to kill teams off. They could
have undone all our good work near the end."

On
His fitness..."I had a groin
injury which was annoying me throughout the pre-season and played up
when I was away with Scotland, It's been getting better and it felt okay
last night."
On
his Scotland future..."At the
moment I am concentrating on my club form and on the Under-21s, who are
preparing for those championships. If anything happens I'll just take it
from there, but I am just going to concentrate on the Under-21s for the
time being. Of course if the call came (from Vogts) then I would be
delighted, but at the moment I am not really thinking that far beyond. I
am focusing on the club and taking things from there."
Jim Jefferies on Canero... "He
injects a lot of pace and he scored a couple of goals in the pre-season
from there. And that was another great finish from the young lad and I
feel he will always cause problems for the opposition."
