 Jasper Still Back's BW!

Kilmarnock coach Ian Durrant backs his former manager Bobby Williamson to halt Hibs' early-season slump, Ian also talks about his transition to becoming a coach...

Durrant, on Bobby Williamson's abilities..."I feel for him at the moment but I know Bobby and I know what he can do.

"I'm positive he can turn things around for Hibs because I played under him for three or four years and I know how good a manager he is."

"I speak to him regularly, probably every other day, and I've built up a good friendship over the years.

"So I hope he starts off with a win on Saturday. But we're playing them after that so I hope he loses against us before getting back on the winning trail.

"That's how it is now. He's focused on Hibs and I'm focused on Kilmarnock. We'll meet up after our game but hopefully we'll win."

On adjusting from playing to coaching..."I did feel a bit agitated on match days in the first few games but I've got used to it now. I know I'm not going to play again so I'll just keep fully focused on the coaching.

"I try to drum into the kids to play football as long as they can. The coaching is a good part of football but it comes second best to playing, anyone in the game will tell you that.

"I'm not really sure how far I want to go as a coach. I'm still on the first rung on the ladder but I'm enjoying it.

"The gaffer and Billy Brown have been great with me and I'm working with the first team. We have started the season well so I'll see how it pans out."
