While participating in the Scotland
Under-21 developmental camp with Rainer Bonhof's boys
Killie's Stephen "Ruby" Murray, had the following to say....
"It has been a different learning process for a
lot of us,"
"Personally, I have added something to my game
by being here because Rainer had a word with me and told me not to put
so much pressure on myself to get past a defender and put in a great
ball every time. I get uptight when I lose the ball but he has taught me
to make the most of it when I have possession and I have definitely felt
a lot more relaxed on the ball since."
"I must admit the tackles are coming in harder
now because once players
get
to know you they work out how to stop you, but the important thing is to
keep getting back up,"
"I get a lot of stick for my size, on the pitch
and in the crowd, and it's something I've put up with my whole career
but it does not affect me. The important thing is to keep improving.
While Bobby used to shout at me if I wandered back into my own half, Jim
has been shouting the opposite to me now, so I know I have more
responsibility to defend."
