It’s over a month since Killie played on home
soil, and the game against the Pars will see the home debut of French
striker Samuel Boutal who scored in his debut at Dens Park
a couple of weeks ago.

The home fans will be keen to see him in
action, and although he hasn’t quite reached peak fitness, Jefferies
is sure that the fans will like what they see.
Samuel will be hoping he can commit his
long-term future to Killie by adding to his debut
goal at Dundee.
Samuel Boutal ..."I
want to play in Britain and I was pleased that Kilmarnock came in for
me, Killie have given me the chance to do well for three months. If I do
my best I might be able to stay longer or give myself other options. I'm
pleased to have been given my chance here. Kilmarnock were interested in
me last season but I decided to stay in France as Troyes had qualified
for Europe. Bobby was the manager at the time and I thought there might
have been a chance of me going to Hibernian, but I ended up here."

Jim Jefferies....“He’s
still a bit short of match fitness, but you can see in training just how
much he has to offer. He’s a very intelligent player, but then he’s
played at a very high level with Bordeaux”
