Gary McSwegan
scored his first goal for Killie at the weekend. The former
Hearts and Scotland striker has been the target of some of the Rugby
Park boo boys this season ... here's what's been on his mind........
"It was definitely
nice to get on the scoresheet again and it was a happy dressing room.
"Earlier in the
season I was struggling with injury, but now I feel a lot sharper.
"The contract
situation is something that has been on my mind and the closer it gets
to January the more I think about it.
"It's now up to me
to do something about it for myself and my family.

"I do feel under
pressure, put I also put pressure on myself and try to respond to that
and come through a stronger person."
"Obviously it's not
nice when you are booed, but it's one of these things that happens to
a lot of players and you have to show character to get through.
"Jim has done a lot
for me during my career and I hope to do well for him in return.
"I'm not expecting
any favours but I have every confidence in myself to get back in the
team off my own back."
Jim Jefferies
said: "The first goal was vital
and I was delighted for Gary McSwegan to get the second. He's deadly
from three inches although given his recent luck I half expected the
ball to take a bad bobble just before it reached him. Hopefully that
will give him encouragement and get some people off his back."
