Letter Sent To Season Ticket Holders

This is a copy of the letter sent out to current season ticket holders this week and should also go out to anyone who has been a season ticket holder over the last five years. We will, as promised, be handing our database over to the club and hopefully we can get letters out to everyone who signed up for the Killie 125 - football for fans campaign as well, after all it was their support that got this initiative off the ground.

Dear Season Ticket Holder,

Thanks again for your continued support for Kilmarnock Football Club this season.

I'm sure you've read in the press or on the Internet Kilmarnock's outline plan for an innovative season ticket package for next season developed in conjunction with a supporters' working group. For each season ticket purchased for Season 2003/4 the purchaser will receive a voucher that is exchangeable for a free season ticket. We are in effect asking our existing supporters to encourage a fellow supporter to come back and follow Killie again. Our pricing is as follows:

PRICING (including free ticket)

Category East/West Stands Moffat Stand (Non OF)
Adult 270 250
Student 175 155
Senior Citizen 135 115
Youth 16/17 110 90
Child 13-15 75 55
Child Under 13 55 35
Adult & Child Under 13 N/A 270

You are free to come to any arrangement you like with your season ticket partner thus giving you the possibility of saving a huge amount over your current season ticket costs. For example if you and a friend take advantage of this offer and split the cost between you the matches will cost the following:

Adults attend all home league matches for £7.11 per match
Students
attend all home league matches for £4.61 per match
Senior citizens attend all home league matches for £3.55 per match
16/17 year olds attend all home matches for £3.03 per match
13-15 year olds
attend all home matches for £1.97 per match
Children under 13 attend all home matches for £1.45 per match

This offer is also available to current non-season ticket holders, so all your friends who are not season ticket holders can also pair up and take up this offer.

SEAT ALLOCATION

You may be aware that the club was originally planning to have an open seating policy (with the exception of current privilege seat holders). This had some advantages however following feedback from many season ticket holders we have again listened carefully to our customers and will adopt the following policy:

East and West Stands:
An assigned seating policy will apply with seats allocated as follows:

Privilege Seat Holders
These people can purchase their existing seat until July 30th 2003 after which the seats will be placed on general release.

Other existing Season ticket holders
These people can purchase their existing seats until Friday May 2nd 2003 after which the seats will be placed on general release.

Current non-Season ticket holders
Seats will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis i.e. those purchasing earlier will have the greater choice of seat.

Moffat Stand:
Moffat Stand season tickets will be available for all non-Old Firm league matches with an open seating policy applying.

We believe this new policy is the best balance to provide everyone with the chance to retain their existing seat if required whilst allowing those who buy early to get the best of the remaining seats. Remember, the quicker you can find a partner for your free ticket, the better seat you get.

FINANCING SCHEME

The club will be offering two payment plans. The first is a 10 month fixed interest loan at an APR of 29.8%. The second is a personal account with the club similar to a credit card. This will allow you up to 56 days interest free credit and includes an overall credit limit for purchases not just of your season ticket but other club items such as strips, fitness membership, or meals at the Park Hotel. Full details, terms and conditions will be available shortly. The financing scheme will be available from March 22nd.

TICKETS

The club will be moving from a voucher to a card system. The purchased ticket will display purchaser, ticket type and seat number details and indicate that it is transferable. The free ticket will also have the owner's photographic I.D. and will indicate that it is non-transferable. The cards will require to be presented to the turnstile operator at each match.

PURCHASING TICKETS

A launch weekend will be held on March 22nd/23rd at the Park Suite (22nd) and the Caprington Suite in the Park Hotel (23rd). Tickets will be on sale and available for pick-up from 9:00am until 5:00pm. There will be entertainment during the day and from lunchtime onward we will be offering "buy a pie and pint and get a pie and pint free". We will publish details nearer the time. In the meantime, you can pre-order tickets by visiting the admin centre at Rugby Park, making your payment and pre-reserving your seat(s). Thereafter tickets will be on sale from the Executive Club in the stadium during office hours until May 2nd and from the administration centre after that date. You may also purchase your ticket by mail. Simply send payment to the club and indicate whether you wish to retain your seat. You will be sent out your ticket and the voucher for the free ticket.

Free tickets:
The free ticket recipient must visit Rugby Park with the relevant I.D. as described above to be allocated a seat. In addition to the I.D. check we will check our database to ensure the free-ticket applicant is not an existing season ticket holder as we cannot issue these to existing season ticket holders. The club will take a photograph of the applicant and print this on their new season ticket.

FINDING A PARTNER

We very much hope that you and your friends will be so impressed by our offer that you will be motivated to persuade someone to join you in order to take best advantage of the offer. We recognise that not everyone will be in position to find a partner and the supporters group we worked with intend to create a "bank" of names of non-season ticket holders who wish to take advantage of the offer. Look out for details in the unofficial website www.killiefc.com and the fanzine Killie Hippo. We are asking all season ticket holders however to use the bank as a last resort as we want to generate as large a season ticket base as possible.

SUMMARY

In these tough financial times in Scottish Football, your club needs your support to generate as many new season ticket holders as possible. I hope you will back our exciting scheme and persuade all your friends to return to Rugby Park.
