killiefc.com Awards 2002-03

Allan and his brother Graeme presented Stevie Fulton with his killiefc.com player of the year award in The Park Hotel after the Celtic game on Sunday. Stevie was "delighted" to receive the award and apologised again for not being able to make The Howard the previous evening.

Our Young player of the year did make it to The Howard though and was presented with his trophy by John Gall of Brownings the Bakers who sponsored it. Hippo and I had a chat with the big man and he hopes to feature more regularly next season and score a lot more goals. The good news for us is that his contract does not run out until 2006.

Bryan 'tenko' Reid was the winner of the Man of the Match award for the killiefc.com Challenge Cup final. Bryan came all the way from his new home in Colchester to star in midfield for the Squirrels and he won the trophy kindly donated by Thurso Doc to keep him company on the way back home. The award was voted for by the losing team.

Jim (Shimmy) Dick captained the Kickin' Squirrels to their second Challenge Cup victory in consecutive seasons. He's seen here in the club house at Loudoun Super 7's outside Galston where the match took place receiving the trophy from webmaster Auld.

And here the monkey house...sorry I mean here are the winning team enjoying a relaxing ale or two after a hard fought match and much deserved victory. From left to right we have John Kirkland, Bungle, Ally Burgess, Fergie, Tenko (front), Davey, Shimmy, Stevie (back), Broon, Houston, Ian and sneaking in at the corner Milad. The rest must have been at the bar no doubt!
