Gold Hits Opener                                Boyle Scores Double

With Rangers and Celtic both suffering defeats this week Killie storm to the top of the table. Joe Gold put the home team in front in the 30th minute after neat play down the left between Logan and McGuinness.

Minutes later Logan doubled the lead with a magnificent strike from 30 yards. After the interval John Paul Boyle pounced on a loose ball inside the six yard box to make it 3-0.

Soon after he made it four when he knocked home the rebound from Greg Gilroy's drive. Joe Coyle finished the rout five minutes from time when he headed home McGuinness' corner.
