Invincible, the former Swindon striker is hopeful a run of form -
starting next week against fellow Queenslander Craig Moore,
and also help him push for international honours...
Now the Brisbane-born 24-year-old is
desperate to hold off Nish and the rest
of his striking competition to bag a place in the starting line-up for
the big opener against Rangers at Ibrox on Saturday.
That won't be easy with the ex-Dunfermline
frontman netting a sweet opener and Kris Boyd staking a strong claim
with a double after the break. Paul di Giacomo and Gary McSwegan are
also in the frame but Invincibile said:
"I'd love the chance to play next
week."
"There's a chance that Foxnet, the big
sports channel back home, will be showing the game and it would be great
for my family to see me playing."

The Kilmarnock striker claimed his first
goal at Rugby Park when he bundled in the clincher in an impressive win
over Mick McCarthy's men, although he had to fight off a claim from
Colin Nish who reckoned the goal was his.
"There was a bit of doubt over my goal
because big Nishy was on the line but I just bundled the ball and him -
and the keeper _ over just to make sure.
"I did apologise to Nishy afterwards in
case I'd studded him.
"The ref gave the goal to him but I don't
think I'm giving him it."
As he walked off
the park with Rolf Harris blaring from the tannoy as a tribute - but he
insisted it won't put him off scoring in future.
"I have to admit I wasn't really aware of
the song on at the end until someone pointed it out to me but I don't
mind it - it's just a bit of fun."
