Season Ticket Offer Hailed Major Success

The club have sent out a press release today extolling the virtues of the two for one season ticket offer. It states that their season ticket initiative to build season ticket sales has seen a massive 66% increase in season ticket holders this season.

The club threw out the rule book with the ground breaking offer and now have over 5,000 registered season ticket holders making their way to Rugby Park every week. At this point we will refrain from saying 'told you so' to all the doubters!

General Manager Davie Mackinnon said: "The Kilmarnock board take great credit in listening to supporters groups to get the scheme off the ground. With recent declines in attendances as a whole, it's hugely positive news for Kilmarnock Football Club and the SPL in general."

Sandy Armour of the Killie 125 pressure group said: "Jooorassic Paaark! We are over the moon that the scheme has been a success and hope that this will be a platform for the club to start building for the future. The fans are the lifeblood of Killie and the more of us there are the more say we will have in how the club is run. The Killie Trust is the next stage forward and hopefully that scheme will work as well as the season ticket offer has. Mine's a lager!"
