Moffat To Be The Main Man

The club released the following Press Statement today indicating that current Vice Chairman of the club will be taking over as the new Chairman when Sir John Orr Stands down and Michael Johnson will be taking his vacated position.

At the Board meeting this morning Sir John Orr confirmed his intention to stand down as Chairman at the forthcoming AGM on 10th December.

Jamie Moffat took the opportunity of thanking Sir John for his tireless work on behalf of the Club over the last two years.

Jamie Moffat said "following major Board Room changes last year Sir John's support and guidance has been invaluable to myself as the major shareholder and also to my fellow Directors. The Club has continued to move forward on a number of different fronts. Sir John remains a committed supporter of the Club and will maintain a close interest in its future activities".

Following Sir John's departure Jamie Moffat, the Club's major shareholder and current Vice Chairman, will become Chairman and Michael Johnston, currently a Director will become Vice Chairman.
