Brownings Scoop Another Award

At the prestigious Scottish Enterprise Ayrshire Business Awards at the Brig a Doon Hotel in Alloway on the 18th March, Browning’s the Bakers were awarded “Best Performing Business in Ayrshire with more than 25 Employees”.

Browning’s who are the makers of the famous Killie Pie have made it three in a row this year following their previous awards of British Baker of the Year and Scotland’s Tastiest Baker. They will now represent Ayrshire at the Scottish Finals, which will be held at the Glasgow Hilton Hotel on the 22nd June.

Joint Managing Director of Browning’s the Bakers, John Gall (our very own YNTTK) was delighted with the new award. He said: “This award acknowledges our position in the Ayrshire Business Market as we were judged against different types of companies, rather than just companies from the Baking Industry."

He went on: "To be awarded Best Performing Business in Ayrshire is a testimony to the hard work and dedication of all our staff. We have plans to increase our product range and customer base in the next few months, which will again create new job opportunities in the region.”
