Boom Boom Well On The Mend

Killie top scorer Kris Boyd reveals that he only now is returning to 100% fitness, and how glad he was to get his 5th SPL goal of the season ........

"It was our second win in a row and we want to keep it going,"

" When we play to our potential I think we are capable of beating anybody - I think we have proved we are on our way back."

"I was pleased to get myself on the score-sheet. I have not been fit for a month or so and would like to get back to scoring regularly.

"First of all it was my hamstring, then my knee - and then I had the flu. I kept playing, but wasn't 100 per cent.

"It has been pleasing to return and get another start under my belt - and a goal as well.

"It was our first clean sheet of the season, which was important. Motherwell are a gritty team, and we wore them down to take full points.

"It is impossible to single anybody out because everybody did well."

Kris Boyd and Peter Canero were both called up for the Scotland Future squad against Turkey on 10th December
