Jamie is another product of Alan
Robertson's youth team, and more proof, should we need it, that
producing our own talent is the best way forward for the club. He
has three Scottish caps at Under 21 level but has not been called up
to the 'big' team. Jamie has been utilised in the first team in
almost every position bar in goals and is a great asset to have in
the squad. Unfortunately for Jamie his versatility and the fact that
he can't be easily pigeonholed to one position has probably held him
back in that he qualifies as the perfect substitute because he can
play anywhere. His preferred role though is on the right hand side
either at full back or wing back. His biggest asset is undoubtedly
his pace which can help him out of trouble every now and then. |
