Notes:
What can we say about Eric other than
he is officially an international man of mystery! It wasn't easy
finding out anything about Eric's playing career other than he's
been at several Belgian clubs, scored a few goals from midfield in
his time, and had a crack at Europe with his last club Mons. Joly
arrived in Scotland to holiday with his brother-in-law, Killie's own
Freddie Dindeleux, and Freddie asked manager Jim Jefferies if it was
okay for Eric to train with the club to maintain his fitness.
Straight away JJ clocked that Eric was a player he had tracked
during his time with Hearts and could never afford and immediately
set the wheels in motion to keep the Frenchman in Ayrshire. Joly is
a left sided central midfielder who seems pretty composed on the
ball but to be fair we have not seen enough of him yet to give a
fair analysis of his strengths and weaknesses. |
