The killiefc.com Prediciton League

They think its all over...it is now! We are delighted to announce that the killiefc.com Prediction League Champion for 2004/05 is RayD who retains his crown from last season. Commiserations to Davie 2009 who misses out by one point in the bonus prediction column despite being even on points. The 90 minute stats for the Champions League Final were as follows: AC Milan 3 Liverpool 3; Maldini scored the first goal in the first minute; Xabi Alonso scored the last goal in the 61st minute; there were 5 substitutions, 2 yellow cards, 65,000 at the game (we allowed 500 each way) and obviously Liverpool went home with the trophy. The good news for everyone is that webmaster Allan is retiring to enter a head to head challenge with me so there will be NO relegation whatsoever and multiple promotions. Here is the final rundown and the final placings...

The Premier Division - 18pts: Davie 2009, Gillzy, Jimmy Superscot, the doomed & CB. 9pts: Al Bino & bluehand. It went to the wire but RayD is undisputed champ. Tambo gets the wooden spoon but there is no relegation.

The First Division - 27pts: Notts Moz. 18pts: Painless pole, Westender, Big Tam, YNTTK & susie blue. 9pts: JMB. Congrats to painless pole who will start next season in the top division. Susie blue finishes well but like tambo, Angus Craig is not relegated due to Allan's retiral.

The Second Division - 18pts: Krisb, ASSH, Chicken & Bones. 9pts: Scooter, bugleboy, 2222, TheShark & terry canuck. Krisb is the lucky punter who is promoted, well done. There was no relegation due to Gingawarrior falling foul of the three post rule a few weeks ago so there will be two come up from the Third Division.

The Third Division - 27pts: Killiegirl. 18pts: The Muppet, Killiefan87, PieRSquared, Sparkie26, Kennedy128, hairy coo & allimark. 9pts: Killie scouser & Wee Fee. Killiedel holds onto the lead and takes the Third Division title and Cookyboy's misery continues as The Muppet pips him for the second promotion place. Killiegirl does well despite her late entry to proceedings and leaves maestro as bottom dog in the whole league. Looks as if Duncan87 and MUSICHEAD will be promoted from the Junior League but I await confirmation from Mr.Tumnus.

Registration for next years competition will commence it a few weeks time, you will be given plenty of notice. League placing will be based on this season's final positions so there may yet be promotion if some punters fail to register for the new compy. Empty slots in the bottom league will be allocated to Junior League participants should they want it and then on a first come first served basis if we have not filled all the available places.
