League Campaign Back On Track
Whitehill Welfare 1 - 2 FC Killie Ladies FC Killie beat Whitehill Welfare 2-1 away from home yesterday on what can only be described a 'coo-field'. Goal scorers were Becky Stokes in the 59th minute and a penalty from Scotland internationalist Jo Love in the 80th minute. Whitehill were handed a very dubious penalty in the last minute of the game which proved to be nothing more than a consolation goal and Kilmarnock Ladies were never under any real threat throughout the game. Manager Malky Boyle said: "After a hard fought game on Thursday night, to be confronted by as good team like Whitehill it was vital that we managed to get the victory and key players came through unscathed". FC Kilmarnock
Ladies Team: Mills, Smith (C), Burns, Fowler, Quinn, Stokes, Love, K.McLaughlin,
