Losing early goals at home has been a problem for Killie this term
and this game proved to be no exception.
Leven was at fault on this occasion as his short back pass in the
10th minute was intercepted by Gow.
The former Airdrie player kept his cool to slot the ball into the
corner of the net.
Killie came back in search of a quick equaliser and Boyd was only
inches away from reaching Gary McDonald's low cross.

But in the 22nd minute the striker netted his seventh goal of the
season to get the home side back on level terms.
Referee Charlie Richmond adjudged that Tiago had pushed Kris
Boyd, and the Scotland Under-21 international stepped up to
score the equaliser.
Bairns keeper Matt Glennon almost presented the home side with a
scoring opportunity towards the end of the first half but there were no
Killie players on hand when he dropped Leven's corner.
Kilmarnock were enjoying most of the ball after the interval but
Falkirk dug in well.
On 70 minutes Danny Invincibile missed a great opportunity to put
Killie in front when he lashed Garry Hay's cross well wide of the goal.
Allan Johnston looked to have scored the winner 10 minutes from time
but his shot was forced round the post by Glennon.
On 86 minutes Steven Naismith's free-kick found a way through the
Falkirk defence but again Glennon was on the spot to save as Falkirk
held on.
