Notes:
Gordon has had a bit of a whirlwind
career and not really had long enough to settle in to first team
football. After only 33 games with Clyde he moved to the English
Premiership with Blackburn Rovers, scoring against Barcelona in a
friendly on his debut! He only ever made one other first team
appearance for the English big guns, in the League Cup, before being
loaned out to Stockport. He signed for Killie on transfer deadline
day of 2003 and was hailed as a future Scotland captain by general
manager Davie Mackinnon. Gordon is a centre half who can play a bit
of football. Sometimes that can get him into trouble when he tries a
forty yard pass instead of clearing his lines but it's nothing that
a bit of experience won't fix.
Update:
Gordon represented Killie in the Scotland "B" international at
Rugby Park on Dec 6th 2005, where
the Scots ran
2-0 winners! |
