"Kris Will Be Missed"..... Danny

Killie forward Danny Invincibile shares his thoughts on Kris Boyd, and him potentially moving on.......

"He's been brilliant for us, which is why so many teams are looking at him. He's strong, powerful and will always score goals for you.

"He might not touch the ball for long periods but if he gets a chance, nine times of out 10 he'll put it away.

"We'll never want to see him go but if he's destined for bigger and better things then good luck to him.

"It'd be a massive blow to lose him in January. The fans have obviously warmed to him and in the dressing room he's just a laugh, he's a great character.

"I think all round he'll be missed. Killie will obviously get money for him and enable us to go forward but we'll be losing a fantastic player.

"We've got that little bit of understanding and from my personal point of view it would be a sad loss.

"Whether it's in January, the end of the season or after that, I think he will eventually go on to bigger and better things.

"He needs to improve himself and progress and a bigger club can accommodate that. Killie's a fantastic club but he wants to try new things.

"I don't know what he's got in mind, whether it is going down south or maybe to one of the big two up here. Whatever makes him happy and progresses him.

"But you look at young Naisy (Steven Naismith), he's come through the youth ranks too and he's been fantastic. Some of the games he's played have been great.

"Everybody's been scoring a few goals. Nishy (Colin Nish) has got a few and Gary Wales is a fantastic footballer and can do the job, so Boydy would be missed but we will cope."

On the teams fighting spirit after falling behind ....

"That was a major problem last season but we've come back a couple of times this season and that shows we've got the confidence and character to play well and stick to our guns.

"It's always good to do that before half-time because if you go in down it can be difficult.

"We've been trying the move that brought my goal in training recently, with the boys holding it up and laying it off, and that one worked perfectly.

"Boydy controlled it well and flicked it back and the keeper went down a bit early so that made up my mind for me, (right) but it's always nice to score.

"We want realistically to get just outside the top three. If we can keep getting these wins there's no reason why we can't get there."
