Kilmarnock, hoping to go third in the table, were unchanged from the side which drew with Inverness, although Steven Naismith was on the bench after missing that game with an ankle injury.

Both sides were intent on getting the ball forward quickly and Killie hit the woodwork in the sixth minute.

A near-post corner from Gary Wales on the left was met by Danny Invincibile, who headed against the bar from six yards.

In the 16th minute McDonald sent in a cross from the left that Frazer Wright sliced wildly towards goal. Graeme Smith kept it out but Foran forced it home as the Killie keeper tried to pick it up.

Killie complained but the Irishman looked entitled to make the challenge and another farcical goal put the hosts two up four minutes later, one more before the half, and a late McDonald double, gave the home side an emphatic win.

This was Killie's most lop-sided loss during JJ's reign with an off week, it will be interesting to see how Killie respond in 2 weeks (after the International break) when we host the Dons!
