Ryan was signed on a free transfer from Aberdeen in July 2005. He has bided his time in the Killie reserves, before replacing Simon Ford on Oct 14th, 2006, as a sub, to make his Killie debut, against his former club. His first Killie start came 2 weeks later at Easter Rd on Nov 4th 2006, where Ryan did a fine job of coping with the speedy Ivan Sproule. Looks like another JJ "find"!
