The
Killie Trust are keen to branch out further into the community and
promote the beautiful game and sponsorship of local youth teams seems to
tick all the right boxes. Hurlford Boys Club recently contacted the
Trust to see if they could help towards funding a marquee for their boys
to get changed at tournaments...and the Trust board decided that it was
a good promotional idea and paid for it outright!

Trust
chairman Barry Richmond (aye okay, that's me) recently went to
Richardson Park in Hurlford where the boys train to see the marquee in
it's full glory, and Sandy Ferguson kindly dropped by to take some
photographs for the Kilmarnock Standard and website etc. Coach Billy
Patna (pictured centre) and manager Bobby Wilson (on the left) are
delighted with their new acquisition. Bobby said: "We'd like to thank
the Killie Trust for their support in this venture, their help has been
invaluable".
