- Lord John Simpson Flag -

Killie's 1997 Club, who congregate in the Park Hotel before every home game, paid tribute to one of their fallen when they unveiled a massive flag in his honour before the Aberdeen game on Saturday...

Loads of Killie fans knew Lord John and were devastated when they heard of his passing at Tannadice last season and the '97 Club thought they should do something to commemorate the man and how he lived his life, and the huge blue and white flag bearing his name was unfurled over the banister next to the suite occupied by his friends.

The big flag is truly impressive and credit must go to the guys and gals behind the idea. Lord John Simpson may well be gone in body, but his spirit certainly lives on and one thing is for sure...he certainly won't be forgotten!
