2008..."Hopefully we'll regroup over the summer. The
majority of this squad has got us into the top six in the past two
seasons and hopefully we'll come back raring to go next year. We had
a disappointing season but before that we were flying high with two
fifth place finishes. Hopefully if we replace the players that have
left then we can push on again. It's been a disappointing season as
we've been really inconsistent. We're already looking to next season
and hopefully the manager can bring in one or two players and
freshen things up."
April 9th 2009... Kilmarnock midfielder James Fowler has
signed a new two-year contract with the Ayrshire club.The
28-year-old, who has made more than 300 appearances since joining
Killie in 1997, also has the option of a third year. Fowler, who has
resumed running this week after two months out with a broken foot,
said: "I'm pleased to have got it all sorted. "I first spoke to the
club in October but these things can take a bit of time and it was
just a case of getting things tied up."
