Last week, I was probably trying to get in the box a bit more than playing as a central midfielder. But I'm glad he stuck by me and I'm just happy I repaid his faith with the winning goal. We were just happy to get the win after the performance we had last week. To come here and put on a performance like this, after last week, was excellent. We had a point to prove to everybody because a lot of people were saying the bubble had burst so we were delighted with the win. Tynecastle is a hard place to come to, so to leave with three points was excellent. I've scored a few goals and hopefully I can score a few more, I'd like to get into double figures. That's my aim for the rest of the games - to stay in the team and score more goals."

Dec 12th on Signing an Extended 3 Year Contract Kilmarnock midfielder Craig Bryson is delighted to have signed up for another three years under the guidance of Jim Jefferies and Billy Brown.

He said: "The gaffer and Billy are good experienced coaches and know what they're doing, so they're good people to learn from. They've just given me a bit of confidence and told me to go out there and play - confidence is the main thing really because if you have that, you'll go out and play well. Ever since I came here, I've just been following what they ask of me and have been doing okay, and I'm obviously really happy to get the extension signed and sealed. It's been going on for a couple of months and has been in the back of my mind, so it's good to get that done; that security of being here for another three years can only improve my game because I can take that onto the park and hopefully play well.
