JIM JEFFERIES has awarded new contracts to four of Kilmarnock's rising stars.

Paul McInnes, Thomas Nolan, Scott Anson and David Cox have agreed deals until December as they progress from the Under-19s.

And Jefferies challenged them to win longer contracts by proving they can step up to the first-team squad.

The manager said: "We've had to let go some of the Under-19s who can't play at that level next season.

"Now these four must show they're worthy of a longer deal."
