2011-12 Season Player News & Quotes:

Sept 16th on the Eve of the Dons (A) Match...
"The quality of the teams are very similar.  There is not much difference between being second bottom just now and where we are in fourth position. There are four points now and one game can change everything in terms of positions in the table. We need to be focused on ourselves and do our best. We need to concentrate and play much better than we did in the last away game in Inverness. If we play at our best, we can win the game."
On his Pars Goal... I'm really enjoying my time here and last week I scored my first goal. It was a big moment for me and for the team as it was the winning goal and we won the game. I'm feeling really good.  If I score winning goals, then that's a bonus for the team. If I defend well but I don't score a goal, it's also good for the team. I'm satisfied with that."

July 31st on hid Goal-Saving Tackle (Vs Well)...
"It's my work. I was lucky the player slowed down a little and gave me the chance to get across and make the tackle.
On Settling In...One year in England helped me improve with the language and learn the style and everyone has helped me settle in now I am at Kilmarnock. But next week it will be better still, when my wife Eva and my little boy Max arrive here. I spend so much time on the phone to them and I miss them. I haven't seen them for a month and that's too long. After training you are lying in the hotel, looking at four walls, watching the TV or reading the news from home on the internet. That's not how I'm used to living. I spend most of my spare time doing family things. Max is 22 months old and you want to have all the time with them you can at that age. We also have a dog, so we have lots of time in the outdoors. Once we are doing that again, everything will be perfect for us. We've found an apartment that we move into next week, so it's all coming together."
July 1st 2011... "It feels very good to be here and after the first training session this morning, I'm looking forward to my playing career here in Kilmarnock,"

"My time at Luton will help me as I don't think there's too much difference between English football and Scottish football.

"I can defend well and also score goals - which is a bonus for me and that is what I want to show the Kilmarnock fans.

"Everyone in the Czech Republic knows Rangers and Celtic but there are teams outside those two who are hungry for success and I think Kilmarnock is one of those teams.

"There were a couple of teams in England interested in me but the manager here really wanted me so I decided to come here."
