  3. It was car park for the hotel which was sold off for the flats. Either way, the hotel should never have been built. With upgrading - artificial, indoor pitch - the club could now have had a first-class training facility and a grass pitch. Instead, we have no training ground, no hotel and an artificial playing surface.

  4. For quite a few years in the 60s & 70s when England played Scotland they stayed at the Marine in Troon & trained at Rugby park before the games at Hampden. In 68 a few of us went down to Rugby Park at Lunch Time from Kilmarnock Academy to watch them training on the Friday. We were allowed to stand on the grass behind the goals & we were retuning the balls to Charlton & Co. Alf Ramsay had a ritual where he used to take the team to the cinema the night before a game usually to see his favourite Western films. As luck would have it my Dad took me &my 2 brothers to the Plaza to see one of the Clint Eastwood Spaghetti Westerns later that night. I think it was "A Fistful Of Dollars" He blagged us in because it was an X film (16) & I was 11 & the oldest brother. In those days they showed a B Movie & during the intermission the 3 of us went to the shop & as we were waiting virtually the whole England squad joined the queue. We got our sweets etc then quickly got some paper & pens & managed to get most of the players autographs.I'm sure i've got Nobby Stiles signature although he didn't play in the game. Team that played is below. I know it was England but it was still quite exiting to see them in Killie & I had a soft spot for West Ham at the time so it was good to get the trio of Moore, Peters & Hurst. Goalkeeper Gordon Banks Defender Brian Labone Defender Bobby Moore (captain) Defender Keith Newton Defender Ray Wilson Midfielder Alan Ball Midfielder Alan Mullery Midfielder Martin Peters Midfielder/Forward Bobby Charlton Forward Geoff Hurst Forward Mike Summerbee Quote from George Cohen "Alf was, of course, cowboy film-mad," says Cohen. "It was the same every time. There may have been a number [of films] to choose from, and he'd say, 'Which one are we going to see this evening, gentlemen?' He'd reel off loads of films, but making it clear that he wanted to see a Western. We'd all opt for something else. He'd listen, and then say, 'High Noon it is, then'."

  5. Most unionists want bent over and rodgered up the arse by Mother May wearing a strap on. Whilst she wears an England top.

  6. The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) have confirmed that data published last week on MP expenses was incorrect. The incorrect figures, which under-reported the expenses of Scottish Labour and Lib Dem MPs in 2014/15, were used by Scottish Labour to launch an attack on SNP MPs. Here are the facts. SNP MPs are costing less than their predecessors – by over £1 million IPSA issued a written acknowledgement and apology to the SNP, and new figures published on their website confirm that in 2015/16 SNP MPs in fact cost over £1 million (£1,140,801.64) less than their predecessors did in 2014/15. On average SNP MPs cost over £21,000 less than their Scottish Labour and Lib Dem predecessors. SNP MPs are working harder than their Labour and LibDem predecessors too. New figures from House of Commons Library research show that SNP MPs work harder than their Scottish Labour and LibDem predecessors, and are some of the most active MPs at Westminster: In 2015-16, SNP MPs spoke in an average of 61 debates. This compares to an average of just 27 for their predecessors in 2014-15. Have a read unionists, these are FACTS, not lies from the express, mal or mclean.

  7. The curtain has slipped Bob. We can see that who is pretending to be the Great and Powerful Beaker is in fact the old and tired Hyperbob. The poor grammar, the rushed posting and the lapsing into "other tongues" is oh so familiar.
