  1. Kenny could string a scentence together and argue a point. He was always pro Killie and you will have to remind us all of the numerous times KS went on the radio and tv to sing the praises of his beloved Ran........oh wait you're talking sh1te!

  2. Really hope they left Steven Smith in the shop window to try and sell him on . Sold as seen, slightly damaged, handle with care as easily broken. returns not accepted.

  3. Exactly this. He offers more than just goals. His game has changed over the years and is our only current forward threat. Hopefully Brophy kicks on but in reality, we are lost without Boyd upfront.

  4. If he's fit I'm sure Boyd will play.

  6. People used to throw a stray e on to Lee Clark's surname. Now the board have given us a Clarke with an e and they don't want it any more. Kilmarnock supporters, eternally difficult to please...

  7. I heard Levein muttering on the radio about being left an “unbalanced squad” by Cathro and how it would take two transfer windows to sort the problem. I couldn’t help think it was a pity Cathro hadn’t had a director of football to guide him in the transfer market.

  8. Better at what? Going bust, bigotry, sacking dud managers, shaming our nation, bringing carnage to Manchester City centre, losing to Luxembourg part timers, overpaying for has been and never will be’s? I’m sure there are many more things they are a “better club” than Aberdeen at......

  9. He is getting extremely more embarrassing every time he is on the programme now. Started with the sarcastic laughing a few weeks back when Michael Stewart was making a point now the stupid "Rangers are back" comments. For fecks sake Kris shut it!

  10. Kris Boyd has had an absolute nightmare today. From his column, to his chat with Jim white to his performance on sportsound tonight. He has plummeted to new depths. I think it has to be one of the other, he is making a mockery of being our supposed main striker, which is you ken, a rather important job

  13. he has a dilemma at moment --- if his team get a decent manager and start doing well he will be happy but his media work will be limited if they continue to struggle along -- he will be on hand for every sound bite needed by any media outlet at any time of the day seriously though this non stop chat about one of our rival clubs by our own player is going way OTT in recent weeks and surprised has been allowed by the club

  14. He’s been a great servant but is now acting like the Rangers News across all media outlets that give airtime to his ill informed p!sh. He can be released from his contract at anytime now IMO. Complete knob jockey.

  16. Agree. But he does make a pillock of himself. He's also long enough not playing when he's playing.

  17. He's not doing a very good job of it...he got torn apart (again last night) on national radio. Was actually funny to listen to last night, I think he even confused himself.

  18. A positive week for Killie with news of the accounts, the zone in a town, a great video of the players and fans together... Instead our only coverage will be Boyd and his utter drivel about rangers. Needs to stop. I'm surprised at this stage that Clark isn't doing more.

  22. No, during international week, this forum takes a break from all things Killie. This week's guest topic is corporate finance.

  25. I don't think he's marmite. I think every fan is getting a bit fed up hearing him harp on about the Rangers. In that regard we stand as one. However the fans can be split into two groups: Realists - they appreciate he's miles better than every striker option we have at the club and chose to ignore his comments or laugh them of remembering that they don't somehow galvanize sides into performing above their usual performance levels. Snowflakes - the group that feel we should sever his contract and go with an "Accies reject with one goal" that a few weeks ago wasn't good enough and Erwin, the biggest anticlimax we'd had at the club since Faubert. Until someone arrives who is as least comparable with Boyd then he's our number one striker. Thankfully I think Clarke will be addressing our forward line first in January.

  26. Still our best striker. Up to now couldn’t care less what he said on the radio. Starting to get annoying now though and think he is making himself a bit of a joke figure. Particularly last nights rant about Derek McInnes no really being offered the managers job at Ibrox so he never turned it down. Who gives a toss other than gers fans?

  35. Does anybody really want to hear Kris Boyd commenting about other teams and managers, Ref. Last comments on The Aberdeen manager being linked to the vacant Managers position at Rangers FC ? The Aberdeen fans are having a field day now after McInnes pledged his future at Pittodrie. I realise that Kris is entitled to his opinion, and he has been a great goal scorer at this club, but it is time for him to concentrate on the job in hand and get us up the table. I know he loves Rangers above all else so I am proposing him for the managers job at Ibrox.

  36. He is looking ahead - he knows he doesn't have much left in the legs, so he's looking at the next payday. I don't think he'll last much longer on the BBC, although they do have a penchant for EBT recipients it seems. I think he is the natural successor to BFDJ on Clyde.

  39. Simply because Jones is an all round better player. Whilst I don't think Jones final ball is great I think he's more creative than Magennis was. They started the majority of their games in different positions so it's hard to draw a fair comparison on goals scored, I'm more confident in Jones in a goal scoring position than I ever was with Magennis - he just isn't as front of goal as often as Magennis was due to where he's generally played. Magennis was bigger and tried hard, beyond that I struggle to think of much else in Magennis.

  40. Interesting comparing Magennis and Jones now both are involved at the same international level. I think we were just beginning to see the best of Josh when he left. He was playing with a lot of confidence, which allied to his physical prowess, made him a threat. I think if we'd got another 6 months out of him the opinions might have been more favourable. Anyway compating the two - for me Jones is a footballer. Quick and direct, very skillfull and has a trick or two. Magennis was an athlete. Neither perfect and both lacking parts of their game. Magennis was becoming very very effective for us and I wish him well. JJ is much better to watch in my opinion. Whether he is more effective is certainly up for debate but a no contest in terms of pure quality. For that reason I think JJ's ceiling is a bit higher than Josh's. Combine both and you've a hell of a player.

  41. If I was a scout and had been monitoring both players I'd be willing to pay much more for Jones than I'd ever have paid for Josh.
