  1. Decided to take the wee man to his first night time game because the schools are off. Usually after ten mins he's asking for a shot of the phone or says he's bored. Tonight he was glued to the second half singing away and loved it! He was talking about the game the full way home! So happy I took him think he'll remember this one for a while

  2. Five key players injured. The worst ref I've seen in years. A penalty. A red card. 10 men. They still couldn't stop us.

  3. What a ninety minutes. A dream start. Weren’t playing well but found a peach of a goal from Brophy. We went into our shell from there and let Dundee dominate. We just couldn’t cope with their system and struggled to win battles. I didn’t think it was a penalty but the goal was coming. Second half I thought we improved straight away. Poor marking to give away the second. Dickers sending off was pure frustration. Couldn’t argue it was a second yellow and I’d hope our senior pros could control themselves better but his reaction was understandable to a degree. We were all feeling it at that point. From then on it was one of the most remarkable performances I’ve ever seen from a Killie team. Every single player stepped it up a level and won every battle on the park. Two cracking goals. Boyds a fantastic team move and fine finish. Where the hell did big Shug find that run and finish. Take a bow young man. SOD was outstanding all game. Great in attack and defence. Wilson was superb when he came on really stood up to be counted. Erwin finally showed up in a Killie jersey. Great link up play and fantastic work rate. Brilliant in the equaliser. Tshibola I wasn’t impressed with until Dicker went off. At that point the big man decided to show up and was excellent. I'd like to give special praise to two players I’ve been critical of in the past. Jamie MacDonald made some outstanding saves. I’ve criticised him at crosses but we needed safe hands today and he made a couple of important claims to calm things down. His save at 3-2 was class. Rory McKenzie in that last half hour covered every blade of grass, unlucky not to equalise before we did and he showed fantastic commitment in the tackle. Ref was an utter joke. Barely gave us a call all night. A shambolic display and he completely lost control of the game. It got to the point it felt like it was 10vs12. A phenomenal night to be a Killie fan.

  5. I'm sure it's the happiest I've ever seen boydie after he's scored --- we were not at our best for an hour thought the ref was a clown but the bottle we had was totally brilliant ---well done also to the fans in attendance -- never gave up , just like the players

  6. He really was that good. He was unlucky to get booked just after he came on. He clearly got the ball onto Taylor before Murray tripped over him rather than him tripping Murray. He was a colossus inmmidfield though. Protected the back four. Bullied opponents, strong in the tackle. Didn’t waste possession and found some cracking cross field passes to utilise space. Ive watched him for probably three or four years now through the development team and into the first team and I’ve never seen him run with the ball as much tonight he showed good skill driving us forward on a couple of occasions before he went on that outstanding run for the winner. Ive always thought he seemed to lack confidence even when doing well but he seemed to be oozing it tonight and the display and goal will do wonders for him.

  8. Im sorry but you are talking out your arse. It's pathetic of you to imply that racism is rife at RP. Never in my 18 odd years of going have I heard a bit of racism from our fans. To refer to your nephew as "best of both" rather than mixed race is incredibly stange as well.

  10. Over a half a century of following Killie and that game is up there with the very best. Outstanding. What a manager we've got. Hope he wants to see how far he can take us. f**k the SFA.

  11. Fantastic effort from all the players and great support from the fans as well if anybody was questioning the decision to give boydie a new contract then tonights performance once again shows why we are lucky to have him playing for us. He constantly gave the worst referee we have seen in many a day a proper earful at every opportunity like a true captain should and what about the performances from the two other forum easy targets Rory and Jamie Mac brilliant display you lads made them eat their words . And what a goal from young Ian Wilson well done young man and oh Steve Clarke you are already a legend!!!KTID..

  12. I heard his pre match and he came across as a complete prick in that. He started getting wide with the interviewer for no reason. Got what he deserved tonight.

  13. Yessssss, get it right f**kin up you scumdee, dirty shower of cheating cvnts, aided by a horrific performance by the referee and his Lino’s. How they missed numerous handballs, late challengers but managed to see every single potential infringement for us was a joke.

  15. Personally he’s the type of midfielder I want in my team. He’s athletic, good in the air, strong in the tackle, doesn’t waste possession. At times last season there was too much put on his young shoulders. IMO he can be the foundation a right good team can be built on. Steve Clarke said it tonight the lad can be whatever he wants to be. I like the kid, rate him highly and that half hour was the best I’ve seen him play. If he keeps that up and can kick on he’ll do well.

  16. Christ knows where we pulled that from. We were pretty rotten for 45 mins or more, Findlay was getting a roasting, Scott Boyd looked lost and the midfield was non existant...then we just seemed to get annoyed, rolled our sleeves up and dragged a performance out of nothing. What a smashing game of football that was. Erwin was outstanding for the time he was on and Tshibola really grew into it and stepped up when Dicker went off. He seems to be starting to realise that up here you don't get half a dozen touches before you need to make a decision. When he gets a few more games under his belt I think we could he a real good one.

  17. What a buzz! What a time to be a Killie! Started well and got off to a flier with Brophy's goal. Assume the boy Parish in nets is new as I've never heard of him but he looked gash. Should have done better with probably all three, albeit I think Boyd's was some finish. It's hard to see how he's been beat from where Brophy's hit it. After that we gradually fell more and more out of the match, sitting back off Dundee too much and not squeezing them enough. An equaliser was probably deserved, but for it to come in that manner was sickening. BBC updates saying the highlights will be up later tonight - I'll be keen to see those to see the penalty decision again. To me it looked like Macdonald saved, the ball's hit the ground, bounced up and touched Dicker on the arm. From my view of it, there's no way it could have been either deliberate or arm in an unnatural position. Maybe I'll have to eat my words later. The first 15 minutes of the second half just went from bad to worse. The injury to Brophy was a blow, they get their second with a good header from Caulker - although the ref missed a hand ball in the lead up that by his own standards, he should have given - and Dicker then sees the red mist and gets sent off. Definite yellow the second one, but when you consider his first booking was for that soft penalty (dissent after the decision I think?) it seems harsh. What changed the game for me was the introduction of Erwin - which is funny when you consider it was enforced rather than tactical genius from the Messiah, Steve Clarke. The big man, who I am by no means a fan of, has come on and held up everything, showing sublime first touch, bringing folk into the game, playing some lovely passes. He's set up Boyd beautifully for the equaliser - cracking finish from the legend that is Boomer - and I'm pretty sure won the ball back for the third? Must be first time I remember a sub coming on and winning Man Of The Match. Fantastic from Lee. As for Iain Wilson, don't think I've ever seen him run at defenders and dribble before, but for him to score his first goal by going a mazy from the half way line, unreal. It looked like he got a nosebleed the further he got and I thought he was going to get the ball stuck at his feet, then he just calmly produces a lovely curling finish on his weak foot. Absolute scenes when that went in. Jamie Macdonald going tonto too! Shoutout to the goalie for a great save late on. I f**king love Steve Clarke.

  18. Enjoy the ride while we can folks. That was absolutely awesome tonight especially down to 10 men and one of the worst refereeing performances I’ve ever seen. Every single player worked their backsides off even though in the first half Dundee were the better side. The feeling after that winning goal is one I’ll take to the grave. Stevie Clarke is a legend.

  19. He's an embarrassment. From start to finish the ref tonight was abysmal. The only man in the stadium who thought that was a penalty. Conveniently McCann missed that. Roaster. Been on the Dundee forum. Fans want him out. He'll be back in the sky studio soon talking about a game he knows nothing about. Sir Steve on the other hand. . , Every week Steve Clarke schools another manager on how to set up a team. Now that's a manager. Oozes class. Let's his tactics do the talking. Love him

  21. "The football is good now" thats what my pal said to me when the third went in. What a game that was, what a squad of players we have, every man played out of his skin. 3 top drawer goals. It had everything. Still cannot believe what happened. These are great times to be a killie fan. Stand up each and every player and take a bow.

  22. Absolutely buzzing. Always said id hoped there was a player in erwin. Its in there somewhere. Rory was outstanding second half. So pleased for wilson. Wss superb and what a goal. Hopefully his critics hace disappeared for a while. Well done young man great to see you back. Surely we can get 5k for our next home game. Not much to ask when going for 8 in a row. Stadium rocking at end with under 4k. Imagine what it could be like.

  28. You said racist language was used against various players. That, to me and others it seems, implies a certain regularity which you're now denying. Some people are racist, it's a fact. Some of those people will be attending Rugby Park and most of them will likely never shout anything racist 'cause they know it's not acceptable any more. A few still will, it might be fairly mild and get some mutters, but anyone in the 2010s shouting ****** at anyone at the football would be lucky to escape a quick slap and getting ejected. I've sat in the same seat in the East for about 20 years, never heard a thing. I know it happens, of course, but I'd call out anything like it if it happened around me.

  30. That is certainly up there - the comeback, the quality of the goals, the fact we had ten men, the controversial refereeing. It may be the high from the match but wow, incredible scenes.

  31. Unf**knbelievable! That eclipses the OF wins. Never thought I'd be saying that! Fair play to the players, could easily have let the heads go down when went to 2-1 and Dicker getting sent off, which was a beast of a tackle, lol. But yeah well done to the lads for not giving up. Dundee were the better team for most the game, really got at us, pressed high and we struggled with mostly long balls as our outlet. Brophy though! That lad has so much potential. Can see him taking over from Boyd eventually. Certainly wont forget tonight for a long time or the past few months. Someone pinch me!

  33. We talk about Mulumbu and we should appreciate him while we can. We should do the same with Boydie. His finish tonight was absolute quality. It is a privilege to watch him play. A legend without doubt.

  34. Another great captain's performance tonight. Stayed calm even when questioning the ref on some unbelievable decisions but showed how worked up he really was after he scored. A perfect example of controlled aggression from our resident Legend!

  43. It's hardly moaning for the sake of it. The customer service seems to be poor so It seems fair to highlight it. Otherwise it will never improve and the club and/or concessionaires will be wondering where the profits have gone.

  44. On one hand aye people are moaning, but on the other hand they are valid points and it has a total knock on effect on the club. The club need to be making as much money as possible from concessions and shop sales, this should be easy profit. There are examples here though of people ready to spend money but it has actually been more difficult for them to do so. You start looking at that loss for every game and you are down thousands each season. I haven't even raised a point so far about my own experience, I've just stopped buying in the stadium. I would rather give the club my money but they make it too difficult so elsewhere it goes.
