  1. It looks it, we spent the day at the Blue Pools... where else? 💦😅
  2. Well done to whoever cut the grass 👏 🤣
  3. Who said... March 2017, "If Brexit is a disaster, I’ll go and live abroad, I'll go and live somewhere else" May 2018, "I never promised Brexit would be a huge success." Yesterday, "Brexit is ruined."
  4. Downing Street press office now panicking, will be trying to get us not to believe what we’ve just heard with our own ears. Sunak has accidentally admitted what they’re not supposed to, uh-ohh! 'Clarifying' that this new Brexit deal means NI is in an "unbelievably special position, a unique position in the entire world", creating the world's most exciting economic zone, with access to EU & GB markets for NI, should not be seen as a the PM endorsing single market benefits for the whole of the UK!
  5. Sunak saying this morning to the Northern Irish, "Northern Ireland is in the unbelievably special position, in the entire world, in having privileged access to the UK home market, but also the European Union single market. Nobody else has that, only you guys" Basically admitting businesses don't want to invest in the UK unless we have one foot in the EU and one foot in the UK, the best position in the world! Can we have the same deal in Scotland? We're a devolved government as well, and voted overwhelmingly to stay in, just like NI. Will Wales or England get the Windsor knot deal? The same deal that we had before 2016? The same deal they blew up by leaving the EU? High on his own supply... It's as if no-one else can actually hear him. 🤯
  6. Rishi Sunak says, "Northern Ireland has this very special position where it has access to the UK & EU markets, which makes it an incredibly attractive place to invest for businesses" And from brexiter Steve Baker, "What an extraordinary opportunity for Northern Ireland, dual access to both markets" That "extraordinary opportunity" was available to the entire UK before Brexit. So now for GB to have the same access!? They make a strong case for rejoining the EU.
  7. David Lammy, Shadow Foreign Secy. this morning, "Labour has been absolutely clear that we rule out the single market, we rule out the customs union ... as we will have a lot to do if we form a government at the end of 2024" Just showing again they're 2 cheeks of the same ass at Westminster.
  8. Lee Whitlock, 54, actor. ...from Shine On Harvey Moon to Grange Hill to Sweeney Todd.
  9. Talk about taking back control? It's definitely working, we couldn't ration our cucumbers unless we'd taken back control! 😅
  10. That just isn't true, if the supermarkets had produce they'd sell it. Friction at the border is having a massive effect on goods coming in as well as going out. European producers don't want to put up with all the costs and rigmarole.
  11. Are we being told there's plenty produce but the supermarkets are choosing not to put food on their shelves? Bollocks! This is entirely due to Brexit. What's changed is the suppliers are backing out of contracts with UK supermarkets and supplying European supermarkets because it's easier. Dairy industry on it's knees, poultry industry struggling, fishing industry decimated and we can't grow our own fruit to meet demand. Many of the folk in these industries voted for Brexit as well, industries that relied on frictionless trade, now being turned upside down. Are we going backwards to 'seasonal food'... neeps n tatties all winter? I'm not giving up my banana, broccoli & pineapple smoothies for anyone! The brexiters promised 'cheaper food straight away for the peasants' as a direct consequence of leaving the EU. They'll be asking us to eat pie from the sky next.
  12. As John Lennon sang, "I'm sick and tired of hearing things From uptight, short-sighted, narrow-minded hypocritics All I want is the truth Just give me some truth"
  13. A Tory brexiter Home Secretary is threatening to resign because the Tory brexiter Prime Minister insists on abiding by the treaty they both voted for in parliament only 3 short years ago. In other news, Bozo is leading the calls for the current PM, his successor but one, not to abide by the rules of the 'oven ready deal' he signed to 'get brexit done', because to abide by the deal would be a betrayal of the deal he signed!?! Surely any brexiter must see they have been mugged big time?
  14. It's yet more evidence, if any were needed, of Bozo's intellectual bankruptcy and moral depravity. The man most responsible for dragging the UK out the EU, now recognises the benefits of membership of the EU and explaining why Ukraine should join as soon as possible? It was only in 2016 he argued that Putin had invaded Ukraine 4 years previously as a consequence of EU policy. The utter corruption that Bozo is hostage to and has inflicted on our country is mind blowing. Yes he's been disgraced and chased out of office, but the eco system of impunity, dishonesty and deception he has created will take decades to explain and unravel.
  15. You'd never guess who's been auditioning as the 'Join The EU' advocate... 😏
  16. The NHS set to treat 50,000 elderly and vulnerable patients in 'virtual beds' at home. Problem is these 'virtual beds' are only being staffed for 12 hours a day. So the future looks like virtual wards filled with virtual beds, with virtual staff on claps for salary... ultimately to make the NHS virtually worthless!

    Brexit

Well tough titty, you can whistle till you're blue in the face for any sort of federalism in this 'union of unequals'. They like it just the way it is, thank you very much. They don't care about our opinions and any sort of 'equal say' will be stamped on, hard! The Tories would love nothing better than shutting our parliament down for good. Elite 'Brits' have always operated out of their smokey rooms in London, for the sole purpose of controlling their Empire. Today in Scotland they are clinging on to every dirty trick they ever used. If we fall for it again, it's curtains.

    Brexit

Hey, if the cap fits, you wear it well. So the EU has introduced ETIAS to keep our murderers, rapists and terrorists out? Gotcha now!

    Brexit

Haha straight out the pages of the right wing press, you sound really scared of foreigners wee man. There always were checks coming in. That's what Border Force are meant to do, ye know, scanning passports or ID an' checking you n that. But ETIAS is for travelling TO the EU, not for folk coming here. It's OUR own freedom of movement that has been curtailed. Paying each and every time and arranging visas for us all to go out to each EU country you visit is NOT a benefit, where it was red-tape free travel before.

    Brexit

These Brexit benefits just keep rolling in... Not! The British passport lost it's value when we lost the freedom of movement to come and go freely between 27 other countries. Now it's gonna cost us. Britons currently do not have to apply in advance to visit the European Union, but that will change when the new European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) visa scheme launches in November. Thanks again for nothing!
  21. Good to see there will be an "independent" investigation into Zahawi. We can expect the results about the same time as the Russian Report, the Sue Gray report, Michelle Mone investigation, Gove's Scottish Independence Poll, Test & Trace £37b fiasco, multiple PPI scandals, etcetera etcetera etcetera... Oohhh for the good old days when politicians resigned for shagging their mistress while wearing a Chelsea shirt!
  22. You managed to slip that bit in at the end to cover all bases, eh? The Tories are sleazy bastards, Labour aren't any better ...oh and the 'nats' blah blah blah. Looks like you're out of options for the next 30 years as well bud. Meanwhile some of us recognise the UK is fast becoming like a banana republic failed state and the time to put up or shut up will be here quicker than you realise. A vote for Independence isn't the same as a vote for the 'nats', they're just the vehicle to get us there.
  23. It's the typical "flood the zone" Tory strategy again. There's so much corruption, folk don't know where to look next. And when there's little if any accountability, if they defend each other in public they get away with it. Christ, they even set up their own private schools to teach their entitled sprogs how to do it! I often wonder if Tory voters aspire to be as dirty as the folk they send to represent them?
  24. Zahawi should be sacked immediately. We've even got bullying Raab on defending him! What happened to, "This government will have integrity, professionalism and accountability at every level"? A second PM has had a police fine while in office, and a second one personally for Sunak. Zero integrity, zero professionalism and zero accountability from this Tory scum!
