  1. Back to proper football and none of this international nonsense..Big game Saturday. Good record at Tynecastle but with our away allocation slashed I think a point would be a good result. Hearts are by no means unbeatable. Hopefully we are coming off a high after our comeback v St Mirren. A wee minor injury on Tuesday for Shankland wouldn't go amiss. Just to rule him out for a few games and nit the euros
  2. Looks to be at Pittodrie for the 10 yesterday league cup win
  3. I hate the international break. Especially when it's friendlies. I always like to see the national team do well but it's nothing compared to watching killie. Roll on a week on Saturday
  4. McInnes is my favourite manager that I have seen in my time. I hope he is here for a long time. Seems to want to be here and is building something. To me he even edge's out sir Steve who left too soon.
  5. Bit of a tear jerker this one 😢 🙂
  6. Mcinnes picks up and spins the ball boy around at this goal
  7. Agreed. I actually feel Vass cristism is unfair but that's just my personal opinion. Although he doesn't score hunners he brings so much to upset the opposition. Not all forwards are goal scorers. Very pleased for Vass as let's be honest we'd be playing championship football this year if it wasn't for him
  8. Seemed to having a hint of a dig at the fans. Not sure if that's just me interpreting this
  9. No sympathy for those who left at half time. Understand people get frustrated but you run the risk of missing out of special times like this
  10. To be honest I think we're at the level we're going to get for most games unless it's a relegation playoff or a promotion decider or a game to get Europe.
  11. McInnes wouldnt leave when we are on the brink of Europe.. also the underhand way Cormack got rid of him. Leaking to the press that if he didn't beat Hibs he'd be out. They showed him no respect. Would need to be some pretty big grovelling and how could you work under someone who did that previously
  12. I like so many others wondered where would he play when we signed Greg Stewart.. and as good a signing as Van Veen sounded there was no obvious place for him either. McInnes has made a bit of a rod for his own back because if he continues to persist with not utilising his squad with not bringing in GMS, Balagizi, Stewart and especially Van Veen we need to get results. They should be good enough to start in one game of the 3 we played in a week . Aberdeens squad should be beating us if you go on budget alone but this was a big opportunity which Van veen has been brought in for. He hasn't played for whatever reason(injured or not wanting to play) and we're out. Whether or not he would have made a difference I don't know). They were brought in fir games like this , haven't played and we're out You can't just bring on players like Greg Stewart, GMS and Van Veen to sit on the bench. They will get pissed off. They would never have signed for us if they didn't think they'd be playing. Deek convinced them to sign for us over other clubs, he's hardly going to have said you'll be our backup. Vv and Greg Stewart are never going to get match fit. Can see GMS, Stewart and Van Veem heading to a Motherwell, St Mirren next season and coming back to haunt us.
  13. The pitch looked quite heavy and I thought we struggled with that split second to get the ball under control and misjudged a lot of passes. Aberdeen pressed us and we lost a lot of 50s 50s I think due to us being that split second slower. Formation all wrong. I thought Aberdeen played quite well. Don't forget they beat Eintract Frankfurt at home this year so they do have it in them. All week I waw fearing this and sadly it has turned out this way. Enormous disappointment but that's football. Every team goes through it. Let's not let it derail our season. Huge game v St mirren
  14. Such a disappointment. Aberdeen have been better than they've been but we haven't turned up.. struggling on this pitch.
  15. For me the concern we don't win many away from home. A lot of draws and we traditionally don't win penalty shootouts. We beat Aberdeen at Pittodrie early in the season but it was a goal out of nothing that did it. I would love to win this one
  16. Results are all that matter and on the whole KV and Marley are still working together so would be harsh to drop but we've only got 9 league games left. If talk of £100k all in all for KVV and not to play him it's a bit of a flop signing. Agreed if he's not fit and he's not the better option you can't play him. It is almost the same with GMS, Balaghzi and Stewart, could these guys turn draws into wins if given more than 10 mins in game? Are we actually missing out in being even better with these guys not playing? If we don't play KVV on Saturday and we go out the cup, could he have made the difference? All hypothetical questions as we don't know but we've all been thinking them. Its a catch 22 with GMS and KVV, they will never get match fit sitting in the stand. A striker in particular needs to play every week to get form...so says John Robertson. End of the day Deek is the manager and we've been doing well on the whole so got to go with him and what he thinks.
  17. I think we'll need a few wins away from home for 4th alongside beating St Mirren and County.
