  1. Current count is £1,415 which is testament to high in regard CB was held. That's a phenomenal amount, a huge pat on the back to everyone involved, great news for the food bank on the run up to Christmas.
  2. So you've got nothing else to moan about this week so have a go at this when it was yourself that was involved in going off topic in the first place? Classic. 😂
  3. No his point is that we drew Celtic because we were not seeded. If he believes his own views about the manager then what would it matter who we drew in the next round? Don't you know hypocrisy when you see it?
  4. Ridiculous. We could have been seeded and still got knocked out in the next round by any of those teams. Have you seen us play lately?
  5. Technically players can talk to anyone when their contract is running out, no?
  6. You're all giving this boy Angelo a hard time for his comments but the reality is you all know fine well he's just pointing out that the wee lassie cheerleader thing how we are doing it is creepy in itself and has no place in modern football stadiums. I'm surprised that more women have not had a go about it. If you want to encourage kids to engage with football then get them involved in playing, that's the modern way, or if its not about objectifying the female form then put them in tracksuits and let them dance.
  7. What planet are you actually from? They have their grubby fingers in every single pie and nothing, I repeat nothing, gets passed without them giving the nod. It's even worse now than it used to be. A bigger top flight does not mean a weak second tier or teams that are not already part time, going part time. In fact quite the opposite, a competitive league with a couple of automatic promotion spots and a chance of play offs at the end and it would improve the second tier leaps and bounds. We did have it big and it was not working well - for the 'big' teams who wanted a bigger slice of the pie. Maybe you're not old enough but I seem to remember that apart from the wee purple patch with Aberdeen and Dundee Utd in the 80's, Scottish teams did rather well in Europe when the divisions were bigger. Even better for the fans only travelling to places only once, more of an attraction, bigger crowds, more chances to peg back the bigger teams when you are only playing them twice - win at home and the best they can do is equal your points. If the only real downside to a bigger league is "meaningless" games towards the end of the season I would challenge that immediately with that there are no meaningless games to fans - but I'd certainly welcome a short period when we've earned the right to play youth players and enjoy the footie without having to crap yourself before every match. Aside from the fact there would still be plenty of action at the top and bottom ends of the table, bring on mid table mediocrity thank you very much, I'd love a bit of that every other year.
  8. If they really want to improve Scottish football then they should simply restructure the leagues and make them bigger again, playing once at home and once away. Will they do that? Absolutely not because it threatens their duopoly.
  9. But it is mirrored elsewhere on social media, it is far from unique to this forum, the amount of crap dished out on Facebook and Twitter is just as bad as the moaners on here, only its completely unmoderated and they get away with anything. Nine times out of ten fans are driven to comment when they are pissed off about something so negativity, especially in a season when we've been so bad, will be prevalent. Then we get the irony of fans moaning about other fans moaning and becoming part of the problem. Mental. Also you are kidding yourself on if you think the match day atmosphere is so good at Rugby Park. Did you not hear Donnelly getting hounded off the park last week? There are also plenty of fans in both the East and FB Stands who give our own players it tight almost all the time. It's great to hear our fans in full voice (although preferably not singing about black bastards) but let's not kid ourselves on that its like that all the time.
  10. Not really. How would I know if no one else seems to know either? I'm bloody amazed that it's lasted over two decades with the apathy that resides within our support. What's wrong with the numbers? I can't believe they have as many members as they do given the level of suspicion about their motives! All the trust has ever been is a huge positive for the club, financially and otherwise, bizarrely some fans don't like that, I'm baffled as to why that is, maybe you can explain?
  11. Only for people who either can't read or don't know how to Google something! It's all pretty much there in blue and white. https://www.thekillietrust.com/contactabout/mission-and-objectives
  12. Very young team! A few been released by the looks of it?
  13. I think that KSA bought these off the kit man at the time (Peter Logan?) who blagged them for himself at the time. Good on the KSA, shame on the other guy.
  14. Why pay extra for a membership scheme? Your season ticket IS your membership payment, it should not be an extra for the things mentioned. If you want to put more money into the club then there are loads of ways to do it. Shares, merchandise, TIK are all easy to contribute to and are clear 'extras', if you buy a season ticket you should already be a 'member' of the club and not have to pay extra, the fact we haven't got such schemes in place to prioritise for tickets and track fans etc. is not a problem that should be solved by the same fans digging into their pockets once more to fund it. Is it true that the early bird prices actually finish this year before our season even ends if we end up in the playoff?
  15. We support the club, not the manager. Don’t get confused. I agree that it’s time DM did some explaining. Someone from out with the club should be firing the questions.
  16. We are always quick to rip into our own fans despite not knowing their circumstances. We were told in no uncertain terms that the buses in the Hampden car park would be leaving straight after the game and if we were not on the bus we’d be left to make our own way home. I left when the whistle went and applauded the team as I made my way up the stairs and I make no apologies for that, neither should any other fans who were old/infirm or had to make sure they made their transport in time. So pardon my French but f**k your uberfannery.
  17. Speak for yourself, I wasn't embarrassed in the least, if you think that performance was embarrassing I'd suggest you've probably watch Killie for all of two minutes. I could name you a dozen more embarrassing performances, and that's just from last season.
  18. I’m going to have to disagree with you here as well. It is not petty small mindedness to think that football is different. My son has worked within the sport and out with it, and I think, going on several discussions we’ve had, it’s no way the same and I’m taking his word for this due to his experience. He is neither petty nor small minded.
  19. Nobody is saying that the board are beyond critique or discussion so stop trying to play that card. You may well be on record praising the board (are you though, can't say I've noticed) but for every post you making praising them there has to be a multitude having a go at them for the same stuff over and over again and that just gets people's backs up even if there is an inkling in truth in some of what you say. I dare say every football club board has a selection of people with different skill sets and it is hard to tell what the perfect mix would be, actually bringing that together would be even more difficult. Billy has built a very successful business from the ground up, Phylis has also been behind some successful businesses and has a background in accounting so knows her figures whereas Cathy Jamieson had served constituents for years in parliament and is now involved in social welfare at a high level and probably knows as much about Killie as the rest of us fans simply through experience. I have no doubt that there are areas in which we are lacking, but what board isn't. They need supported not constantly slandered, there are ways and means of getting your point across without having to go on the attack. You catch more flies with sugar and all that. Be constructive and help build something.
  20. Also, just to add, it won't be big bets that is driving the price down, it will be loads of wee bets from people thinking it would be a good appointment for Hibs so take a tenner flutter. Bookies in the main do not take large stakes on next manager betting because they know that someone will always be in the loop.
  21. Worry not lads and lassies, Guff92 says Del is rubbish so why would Hibs want him to sign?
  22. Are we going to stop singing WFAANW to the Ayr fans now seeing this lower league trophy is so significant? Sure you can only beat the teams in front of you and I concede this will be a hugely unpopular opinion, but we were top dogs in a pub league that we should never have been in and as good as winning it was, its not better than winning a national cup or the top division. Sorry, great game and atmosphere but not a major trophy.
  23. Why don't you contact the trust as a member and ask them about it rather than going all drama llama on here and trying to create a mountain out of a molehill? I'll put money on the trust's books being at least six months ahead of the football club.
  24. Capping crowds is detrimental to the game no matter which way you look at it. Football fans the target of unfair legislation once again, we are genuinely treated like second class citizens. As an outdoor sport we should be the last form of 'entertainment' getting hit.
  25. Tell me a football club that have or would announce their shortlist of candidates prior to making an appointment and when they are going to get interviewed?
