DUNDEE UNITED are set to bring in highly-rated Southampton goalkeeper Harry Lewis.
The 19-year-old has agreed to join Ray McKinnon’s side on a one-year loan deal and that will pave the way for Cammy Bell to join Kilmarnock.
United, who have also signed ex-Falkirk keeper Deniz Mehmet, will agree to let Bell leave for a club back in the Premiership.
McKinnon has moved quickly to secure former England U18 keeper Lewis, who has played three times for the Saints’ first team.
He is highly regarded by the Premiership club so played in their FA Cup campaign last season, before it was ended with a 5-0 defeat to Arsenal.
Lewis had been with the Southampton first-team in Austria for their pre-season training camp but will now make his way to Scotland after new boss Maurico Pellegrino decided he wants him playing regular first-team games.
